This is an excellent opportunity for an AI ENGINEER / APPLIED AI ENGINEER to shape how a leading WEALTH MANAGEMENT FIRM actually uses Artificial Intelligence – not just talks about it.

Based in LONDON (West End) (Hybrid 3 days in office), this AI PRODUCTIVITY & AUTOMATIONS ENGINEER role offers a salary of £70,000 – £80,000.

As the business accelerates its adoption of AI-enabled productivity and automation, they’re hiring an AI & Automation Engineer to lead the practical implementation of Copilot, Power Platform and Azure AI across the organisation. Whereas most AI roles promise innovation – this one expects you to operationalise it at scale.

THE ROLE:

As the AI ENGINEER / APPLIED AI ENGINEER you will design, build and embed intelligent automation across the Microsoft ecosystem – leveraging Copilot, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Azure AI and custom integrations to fundamentally change how people work. This is not a theory role – it’s where AI meets real users, real workflows, and real productivity gains.

This position will provide you the opportunity to:

Architect and deploy enterprise-grade AI copilots and automations used daily across the business.
Work hands-on with the full Microsoft AI stack – Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, Power Platform and beyond.
Move from POC to production: design solutions that actually get adopted and deliver measurable impact.
Own the prompt engineering and orchestration layer for real-world enterprise use cases.
Shape AI adoption strategy through direct engagement with leadership and end users.
Create reusable accelerators and frameworks that scale across teams.
Operate at the intersection of engineering, product and behavioural change.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build AI-powered workflows using Power Automate, Copilot Workflows and Copilot Studio.
Develop integrations, plugins and connectors using C#, APIs and Azure services.
Implement solutions across Azure AI (OpenAI, AI Search, prompt flows, orchestration).
Design and optimise prompt engineering patterns.
Create reusable AI components and automation accelerators.
Configure and extend Copilot across M365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Platform).
Build copilots, agents and automations connected to enterprise data.
Ensure solutions are secure, compliant and production-ready.
Act as an internal consultant to business teams.
Translate business problems into practical AI/automation solutions. 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Strong experience with Microsoft Copilot & Copilot Studio.
Advanced Power Automate / Power Platform skills.
Azure AI ecosystem experience (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, AI services).
C# and API/integration development.
Prompt engineering experience.
Ability to engage and train end users.
Passion for making AI usable, not just possible.
