THE ROLE
As the Senior Automation Engineer, you will take ownership of the organisation's automation capability across multiple products and payment platforms.
You will design and build scalable UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright, integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and establish engineering practices that improve release confidence and delivery quality. Working closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams, you will ensure testing and automation are considered early in the development lifecycle and embedded throughout the software delivery process.
A key focus of the role is advancing the organisation's automation capability through AI-assisted testing, intelligent regression optimisation, contract testing, automation observability, and integration testing across distributed systems. You will also contribute to automation strategy, mentor engineers, and help establish quality engineering standards across the technology team.

THE REQUIREMENTS
8+ years' experience in Automation Engineering, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation
Strong experience designing and building automation frameworks from scratch
Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and API automation
Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python
