This engineering Lead role is permanent with a CTC of up to R1,4 million per annum.

THE ROLE
As Engineering Lead, you will be both a strategic technical leader and a hands-on engineer, taking ownership of the technical direction of software engineering initiatives across the business. You will drive architecture alignment, engineering standards, and software quality, accelerate DevOps, CI/CD, test automation, and deployment automation practices, and support cloud adoption and platform modernisation.
You will lead, mentor, and develop software engineers, reduce operational risk through platform stability, observability, and automation, and provide technical leadership across cross-functional delivery teams.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven background in a senior software engineering leadership role
- Strong full-stack engineering foundation with hands-on development experience
- Azure cloud engineering experience (preferred)
- Solid DevOps and CI/CD pipeline delivery
- API and integration engineering expertise
- Secure software development practices
