I graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with a BCom LLB degree, but before hitting the books at Stellies I left for the UK. Spent a year in London working as an Assistant Engineer in the heart of London.
After graduation from Stellies I started my IT Recruitment career, and what a journey it’s been so far: time flies when you’re having fun and it’s been over a decade, with experience across South Africa and the USA, placing Technology & Cybersecurity talent. I’ve partnered with early-stage startups, large multinational consulting firms, corporations, and companies backed by prestigious investors to help them solve their talent shortages. Having also lived in Dallas, Texas has taught me so much about Tech recruitment outside of SA, different ways of recruitment, processes, cultures, etc.
South Africa is home! I love our people, our culture & diversity. I’ve learned the true meaning of Ubuntu, whether it was my time in London as a young man or in Texas as a working professional, when you come back to SA, it’s simply magical.
I’m a father of two, husband to a super supportive and caring wife, and a dog lover and the gym is my second home. Family is life!
